Senator Lere Oyewumi Flags Off Construction of 1 km Sunmoye-Obada Market Road in Ikire; Akire Praises His Efforts

The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Akogun Lere Oyewumi, PhD, representing Osun West Senatorial District, today flagged off the much-anticipated construction of the 1 km Sunmoye-Obada Market Road in Ikire. This road, known as one of the town's busiest business hubs, is set to receive a significant facelift, marking a major step forward for local infrastructure development.

During the flag-off ceremony, Senator Oyewumi reiterated his commitment to the people of the senatorial district, promising that this road is just one of many that will be constructed as part of his election campaign promises. "We are just getting started. The development you see today is a testament to our resolve to improve the lives of our people. More roads and essential infrastructure will follow," the Senator representative assured.

The Akire of Ikire, HRM Oba Olatunde Falabi Olabemloye III, represented at the event by his council chiefs, expressed gratitude to Senator Oyewumi for his dedication to fulfilling his promises.
