The National Assembly has produced many heroes from the floor of the Green Chamber and as well as the Red Chamber but this time we have a current Champion right here from Osun State, precisely Osun West Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Akogun Kamorudeen Olalere Oyewumi PhD ,the 10th Assembly Senate Deputy Minority Leader.
He has proven his dedication to Public service from his days as Irewole local government chairman and then ALGON chairman where he made landmarks of achievements.
Sen Akogun Lere Oyewumi also served as a Federal commissioner for the NPC and performed exceptionally. Kudos to his well upbringing (Bibiire kose fowo ra).
Presently, the Senator representing the good people of Osun West Senatorial District is performing excellently well at the hallowed chamber as he has presented many impactful bill in the floor of the house for the Establishment of The Federal Medical Centre Ikire aimed at enhancing and improve health care access in Ikire and environs.
Recall that barely few months after his inauguration into the office, he has had many remarkable achievement in the education sector, empowerment and dividend of democracy delivery as well as infrastructural developments.
Few days ago he paid an inspection to some selected roads he facilitated their full reconstruction including the Ogberin road in Ede South Local Government of Osun West, at the same time flagged off the reconstruction of some community roads in Irewole, Isokan and Ayedade local government respectively which serve as a testament to his passion for community development.
The ongoing reconstruction of Bovas -Araromi road in Oluponna, Ayedire Local Government is also a commendable achievement of the distinguished Senator as the said road was last constructed 22 years ago.
Sen Akogun Lere Oyewumi has proven his dedication to selfless service, passion for community and human development and also distinguished himself as a worthy representative.
