The Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District, Akogun Lere Oyewumi PhD, has been honored with the Outstanding Senator of the Year award in recognition of his dedication to people-oriented legislative duties.
At the 2024 Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC) Radio News and Current Affairs yearly program, the Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate was celebrated for his legislative efforts that have significantly impacted the Osun West Senatorial District. The award highlights his commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of his constituents through effective legislation and community development initiatives.
In his absence, the immediate past Chairman of Irewole Local Government, Hon. Babajide Jooda, represented Senator Oyewumi at the event to receive the prestigious award.
