Senate Deputy Minority Leader Pays a Working Visit to UCH Ibadan

The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate and Member of the Senate Committee on Health, Senator Lere Oyewumi, today paid a working visit to the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan. The visit was aimed at understanding the institute's efforts and achievements in public health.


Senator Oyewumi was warmly welcomed by Professor Jesse Abiodun Olubanjo Otegbayo, the Chief Medical Director of UCH. During the visit, the Senator expressed his appreciation for the institute's dedication to public health research, acknowledging its significant contributions to the field. He also had the chance to interact with researchers and discuss the challenges and opportunities they face in their work. Senator Oyewumi can advocate for policies that support and promote public health research in Nigeria.
