The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Lere Oyewumi PhD has sent his condolences to Dr. BT Salam and the entire Salami family over the passing of their beloved mother, Alhaja Medinatu Salami.
In a statement issued on Saturday through his media office, Sen Oyewumi urged the deceased family, friends, associates and the people of Edeland to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a good life before her departure.
He said the elderly and wise counsel of late Medinat would be sorely missed, not only by her family but the people who were close to her during her lifetime.
The Senator urged Dr BT Salam and his entire family to see the death of his dearly beloved mother as the opening of a new chapter and new reality for them.
“On behalf of the good people of Osun West, I sympathize with the Osun State commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Dr. BT Salam, on the demise of his beloved mother, Alhaja Medinatu Salami.
“I pray that God will grant the late Alhaja Salami eternal rest and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss," the Senator said.
