The Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Senator Kamorudeen Lere Oyewumi PhD joined thousands of sympathisers today in Oluponna to sympathise with the family of the late Atolugbu of Oke Oba, the people of Ayedire local government and Osun West as he was lowered to the grave. He urged them to take solace in the fact that Oba Oyelayo lived a fulfilled and accomplished life that the legacy he has created will serve as a guiding light for the future.
Sen. Oyewumi noted that Oba Yunus Olaoye Oyelayo has been his political ally, a fatherly figure since 1992 with unflinching support and unalloyed loyalty. He stressed that he was very brilliant in Yoruba philosophy, towering and magnificent in all spheres, yet lived an exceptionally humble, pleasant, sociable, gracious, compassionate and loving life. He touched lives in many positive ways and made pivotal contributions towards the growth and development of our State and Nation.
