Senator Lere Oyewumi Visits Dilapidated Classroom At St. Peter's Secondary School, Promises To Complement The Efforts Of The Governor In Education

The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Lere Oyewumi inspected the facilities of the St. Peter's Secondary School, Orile-owu, Ayedaade Local Govt. The senator and his entourage Yeye Akogun Omolara Oyewumi and Hon. Folorunso Ogundare (FOLLY) were received by the school management. They were taken around the school facilities where dilapidated buildings and abandoned ones were shown to the senator.



While addressing the school management and the students, Senator Oyewumi said that the terrible condit



ion of the building/classrooms in the school would be addressed as quickly as possible. He also noted that other public schools in the Osun West Senatorial with deplorable facilities would be addressed soonest to improve the quality of education in the state. The senator promised to renovate and construct a new building for the school in addition to the good one constructed. 



The Senator then promised to complement the governor's effort in reforming the educational sector in Osun state. "I want to commend the governor of Osun state for his passion for education and for reducing the unemployment rate in the state. 


Sen Oyewumi reiterated that H. E Sen. Ademola Adeleke's administration would guarantee qualitative education for students of the state, adding that the intervention in the worst-hit schools was just based on exigency and that a holistic approach to solving this infrastructural deficit is already in motion. 


The school management praised the senator for being responsive and being a rigid influence on the school and wished him the best in his endeavors.
