The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Lere Oyewumi described the erstwhile governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, as a pragmatic leader whose administration would never be forgotten in Osun State, SouthWest, and Nigeria as a whole. Sen. Oyewumi who stated this in his congratulatory message to Oyinlola on his 73rd birthday, said the Okuku-born Prince has been outstanding in his services to humanity.
“As a true Prince, he has lived up to his calling in all engagements he has been saddled with both as a top-notch military man and as a consummate politician. His impact in Lagos as a Milad and in Osun as a civilian governor can never be wished away by the tide of time, He was one of the performing governors who delivered dividends of democracy to the populace” he noted
He enjoyed the septuagenarian being unwavering in upholding democratic ethos and working towards a greater Osun State, South West, and Nigeria as he wished him happy and productive years ahead. Omo Oba Oyinlola’s wealth of experience would continue to be savored by his people, the state, and the nation as a whole.
Sen. Oyewumi said: “We pray that the almighty will grant him many more years of relevance in the land in good health as he continues to contribute his quota to the development of Osun State, and Nigeria.” “To this effect, one cannot but wish him a continuous God’s guidance filled with good health and the needed strength,”
