In a somber turn of events, Ejigbo town is grappling with the unexpected loss of Hon. Richard Idowu Adeoriokin, a respected figure whose untimely departure has sent shockwaves through the community 


The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Lere Oyewumi extends his deepest condolences to the families, friends, Ejigbo PDP, and the entire Ejigbo on the demise of Hon Richard Idowu Adeoriokin. Senator Oyewumi acknowledges the significant contributions of Hon Richard to the development of Ejigbo and Osun West Senatorial District, dedication, and tireless efforts in advancing the cause of democracy and the welfare of his people, saying that the late Hon Richard’s commitment to good governance and sustainable development has left an indelible mark.


Senator Oyewumi has called on the security agencies in Osun State to thoroughly investigate the murder of Hon Richard and bring the perpetrators to book. He also calls upon all residents to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and provide any relevant information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.” He condemned the killing in strong terms.


He calls on the people of Ejigbo, Osun West, and the entire Osun State to unite in prayers as we mourn the loss of Hon Richard. “The passing of Hon Richard is a great loss to our Party, his legacies will endure in the hearts and minds of the people he served. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families during this challenging time,” the Senator said.
