Senator Lere Oyewumi Hails Governor Ademola Adeleke As He Revives State Owned Media Houses

The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Akogun Kamorudeen Olalere Oyewumi has commended the efforts and developmental strides of Osun State Governor, His Excellency, Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke in all sectors in the state. He noted that the procument  and distribution of new sets of six transmitters for State owned media houses in Osogbo, Iwo, Ife under Osun  Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC) is in fulfillment of Governor Adeleke's commitment to restructure the media outfits for better efficiency.


Senator Lere Oyewumi noted that communications are the backbone of emergency response and this funding will improve our public safety equipment across the board. He stressed that improving the service of the state-owned media outfit would enable it to disseminate policies and programmes of the state government effectively. He added that the station, which houses both radio and television, was important in the dissemination of information to the people to enable them to be abreast of the activities of the state government.


Senator Lere Oyewumi emphasized the commitment by His Excellency Ademola Adeleke which revolves around the development of the state in all ramifications. He noted that since the assumption of office, Governor Adeleke has embarked on numerous people-oriented policies, programmes and projects to take the state to the next level of development. "I want to say this with all amount of pride that Governor Adeleke is working. I pray God to continue to bless, protect and keep him to work for the state" Sen. Oyewumi said.
