The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate and Akogun Of Awoland, Senator Lere Oyewumi has congratulated the Alawo of Awoland, Oba Abdul Razaq Taiwo Adegboye on the 2nd anniversary of his coronation, wishing him many more years of fruitful reign in good health. The lawmaker commended the roles of the monarch in maintaining peace and security and in uniting his community behind an agenda for growth.
The Senate Deputy Minority Leader who doubles as the chairman of the 2nd Coronation Anniversary committee was represented at the occasion by OSUN State Commissioner for Energy, Hon. Festus Ademola Adeyemo congratulated His Royal Majesty Oba Abdul Razaq Taiwo Adegboye, the Alawo of Awoland on his second coronation anniversary and the entire people of Awoland and to solicit for the cooperation of all and sundry to uplift the glory of Awo town.
It is well well-known fact, that the Government alone cannot provide everything needed for the citizenry, I therefore wish to enjoin you to embark on meaningful developmental projects to raise the standard of living of the people of Awo and this is only achievable in an atmosphere of peaceful co-existence devoid of any rancor or grievances.
Senator Lere Oyewumi pray that Almighty Allah grant His Royal Highness long life and good health on the throne of his forebears while urging him to continue to be that unifier and nationalist who works with other patriots to strengthen the unity of the state and the country through his efforts and advocacy as a great monarch.
