New Year: Akogun Lere Oyewumi PhD Felicitates With Nigerians In New Year Message

The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Akogun Lere Oyewumi has urged citizens of the country not to lose hope but to remain hopeful for the country regardless of its current economic and security challenges as they enter the new year 2024.


The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Akogun Lere Oyewumi in his goodwill message called on Nigerians to remain positive and hope for better days even as they celebrate the commencement of the New Year, 2024. 


Akogun Lere said the current social, economic, and political challenges would give room for better times if Nigerians remain hopeful and collectively work together to ensure a turnaround.


”Akogun Lere acknowledges the perseverance and resilience of our people in the face of the current socio-economic challenges. In the true spirit of the Nation, we will remain resolute with a renewed vigor to face the new year, more determined to succeed together as a people.


“Akogun Lere urges all residents to shun acts of divisiveness and embrace true love for our nation and our dear State. Let us work together to bequeath a great legacy for our teeming youth and the coming generation. We must focus on what unites us as a people, consolidate our gains, and think less of what divides us.


“Akogun Lere thanks the good people of Osun West Senatorial District, and Osun State for the support given to him and H. E Sen. Ademola Adeleke's administration from inception to date. I promise that you will truly be proud of us in the end. “I wish all the good people of Osun State a happy and prosperous new year,” he said
