The Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Akogun Olalere Oyewumi PhD representing Osun West senatorial district has congratulated the Olufi of GbonganLand, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adetoyese Oyeniyi, PhD Odugbemi (I) on his 25th anniversary of his coronation.
In a congratulatory message through his media office, Oyewumi lauded the respected monarch for making Gbongan kingdom peaceful and investor-friendly since he ascended the throne of his forefathers 25 years ago.
He noted that the monarch’s ascension to the throne had brought many developments not only to Gbongan but the neighboring cities. He then called for the people to continue supporting the monarch in his transformational leadership in the domain.
"On behalf of the good people of Osun West Senatorial District, I warmly congratulate His Royal Majesty, Oba Adetoyese Oyeniyi, the Olufi of Gbonganland on his 25th coronation anniversary of the throne of his forefathers.
"As a bastion of culture and tradition, the monarch has played a significant role in putting Gbongan on the world map for good reasons going by the various developments he has attracted to the ancient city within his 25 years reign on the throne.
"I pray that the Almighty God will continue to give him good health and wisdom to pilot the traditional affairs of the kingdom and offer valuable contributions to the development of Gbongan land,” The Senator said.
