The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Akogun Lere Oyewumi accompanied by Irewole Local Government Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Jide Jooda today visited the president, Ikire Progressive Union, Alh. Demola Akinromade, over the fire incident that engulfed his company, Demoford Poly Nigeria Limited, Osogbo where properties and machines worth millions were destroyed.
Senator Lere Oyewumi described the inferno as an unfortunate and heart-breaking incident. Senator Lere noted he was devastated by the unfortunate fire outbreak that lasted for hours. While lamenting the fire incident, he expressed concern about the level of damage caused by the fire incident. “I was horrified, saddened, and distressed with the destruction of the properties that were worth millions," he said.
Senator Lere Oyewumi commiserated with Alhaji Demola Akinromade and his family, adding that he shared their pains at this trying moment. Hon. Jide Jooda equally prayed to God to strengthen and replenish the Alh. Akinromade with what was lost to the fire incident.
