Osogbo NIEEE Executives Pays Courtesy Visit To Senator Lere Oyewumi, PhD.

The Nigerian Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (NIEEE) Osogbo Chapter today paid a courtesy visit to the office of Deputy Minority Leader Of The Senate, Senator Lere Oyewumi after their annual conference at International Conference Center, Abuja. The delegation was led by the Chairman, Engr. (Dr) Daud Folarin, Deputy Chairman, Engr. Odebowale, Gen. Secretary, Engr. Folaranmi, Technical Adviser, Engr. Odebunmi and Engr. Akinsola.


In their separate remarks, the chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Osogbo chapter, Engr. Folarin and Deputy Chairman, Engr. Odebowale said that the purpose of their visit is to congratulate him on his new position and urge him to help promotes the development of electrotechnology and related sciences, the application of those technologies for the benefit of humanity, the advancement of the profession, and the well-being of its members.


Akogun Lere Oyewumi appreciated the leadership of the Institute for identifying with him, stating that he'll engage all relevant stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration. He also urged the Institute to equally join hands with the state and local governments to develop it, stating the readiness of Gov. Ademola Adeleke to work with resident engineers to develop local content policies that will improve the state’s energy sector.
