Deputy Minority leader of the Senate, Senator Kamorudeen Lere Oyewumi, donated a new generator to Onibepe Villiage to the resuscitation of the borehole in the village.
It was a joyful moment for the residents of the community as they were happy to fetch water again from the borehole. Residents of the community had desperately longed for potable water in their community for drinking, cooking, laundry, household chores, and other daily essential uses.
This gesture according to Senator Lere Oyewumi who was represented by Hon.Kola Akinpelu was a demonstration of his commitment to the improvement of the People's welfare in Osun West Senatorial District.
Senator Lere Oyewumi submitted that it would mitigate the challenge of water in the area. Meanwhile, the residents of the community appreciated the Senate Deputy minority leader for the kind gesture, adding that it will solve the water challenge in the community.
