During an interactive session with stakeholders in the power sector, Senator Akogun Lere Oyewumi strongly criticized the Distribution Companies (DISCOs) for imposing unaffordable tariffs on Nigerian consumers. He urged the DISCOs to refrain from suffocating the masses with excessive charges. He urged the DISCOs to prioritize the welfare of consumers and ensure that tariffs are fair and reasonable.
