The Osun State Government under His Excellency, Ademola Adeleke ablely represented by Dr. B.T Salam today flag off the construction of the agelong dilapidated Olufi palace road in Gbongan, Ayedaade Local Government. Dr B. T Salam was accompanied by the Senator-Elect, Akogun Lere Oyewumi and Director, Ministry of Works, Engr. Olaotan. Dr B. T Salam reiterated that Gov. Ademola Adeleke's administration is irrevocably committed to uplifting the socio-economic life and welfarism of the citizens.
Speaking during the flag-off ceremony, Dr B.T Salam who represented the Governor said the project occupied a strategic place in the local government and could not be ignored, as it contributes substantially to the development of the town. He noted that the Governor's engagement in meaningful infrastructure are meant to achieve the much-needed economic transformation and equitable development that our major towns and villages deserve.
Dr. B.T Salam also eulogized Osun West Senator Elect, Akogun Lere Oyewumi as an astute politician who prioritize the welfarism of his people. He stressed how the Senator-Elect has been on the neck of the state government to mobilize resources for development of his people in the Osun West Senatorial district.
