Akogun Lere Oyewumi Felicitate With Nigerians On New Year Celebration, Urges Nation Building

The Osun West Senatorial Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Akogun Kamorudeen Lere Oyewumi felicitate with Nigerians as they mark the New Year festival. He noted that at the turn of every year, it's an opportunity to look back at the past and forward to the future. To review the outgoing year, its high and low points, successes and failures, and be fully thankful to God. A time like this offers a precious opportunity for thanksgiving, stock taking and reflection on goals and targets set for the preceding year, and how much was accomplished. The ones not done can then be rolled over into a new year.

Akogun Lere Oyewumi, in his New Year message, urged Nigerians to use the opportunity of the preceding year as a good time to look forward to considering new prospects, unfold plans and prepare for landmark dates and events. He stressed that Nigerians must view the faults of the past as foregone days of lessons that must be learned from and see the future as a chance to attain greatness. He charged Nigerians to set themselves to the task of moving forward with the goal of creating a New Nigeria that our sons and daughters can be proud of; a Nigeria that works for the betterment of the many, as opposed to working for the greed and excesses of the few.

"As we come into 2023, we come into a year of endless possibilities. It's general election year, we must see this new year as a new opportunity to redefine our collective bond as a nation, and work to elect leaders that will serve the people, listen to the people, and most importantly, fight for and on behalf of the people," Akogun Lere said. Wishing you a Happy New Year, bursting with fulfilling and exciting opportunities.

Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right. Akogun De, Irorun De !!
